No, I didn't get fined.. but the disrict pays through their nose... somewhere around $250 per billable hour.
By the way, I wasn't out of order, he said I was "off topic". That is code for "don't hurt my feelings".

Diane - he was way out of line. If he really had the best interests of the district at heart he would recommend the cancellation of his own contract. All that money flying out of the district and into his coffers is money that could have been used to keep a school open.
Why do they even have to have an attorney at their board meetings? Guilty conscience?

I was at the BOE meeting and just rewatched on tape the exchange between Diane and the board president, their lawyer, and Hinton. First of all, they all knew that she would eventually have her say, so why would their risk making fools of themselves quibbling and taking up time showing Diane who is boss. Diane was definitely speaking to Agenda Item 11. Of course, her comments were related to closing a school because she was questioning if Spangler was eligible to vote on that issue--why isn't that related? Her comments about Blaine Sumner certainly should have raised red flags to the board that they might be voting to repeat an earlier bad decision that didn't result in savings to the district.
Where are the all the independent thinkers? Stowell thinks he is a leader but he's just a YESman...Butler is pretty much worthless...I would LOVE to know how many times Spangler has voted differently than Hinton. HINTON AND HIS FATHER-KNOWS-BEST attitude needs to go! Rock on DIANE!
